Trumpington Park Primary School is a brand new building which opened in September 2017. It is located close to the centre of Cambridge, in the heart of Trumpington, within the newly developed community of Great Kneighton/Clay Farm. The school is a 3 form entry primary school which is currently open to Reception children but will eventually cater for children from Reception to Year 6.
We have a beautiful two-storey building set in immense grounds with easy access to the developing country park and community gardens. As well as large playground areas, we have a full sized astro-turf football pitch, tennis courts and landscaped grounds which we will continue to develop to support our outdoor learning programmes.
In the Early Years, children also have access to their own outdoor learning environment which is constantly changing to allow for stimulation and challenge for all learners.
At Trumpington Park Primary School each class has an interactive whiteboard, engaging reading areas and role play provision. We have a large hall, a mirrored small hall with a food preparation area for the teaching of food technology, a studio and multiple large spaces for the teaching of dance, drama and music.
Our building allows for the school numbers to grow and gives us the space for the development of resources to support all aspects of teaching and learning effectively.
