Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum has been developed by all staff in their roles as teachers and as subject leaders in collaboration with other schools in our Trust to create a Meridian Curriculum. This curriculum delivers the national curriculum entitlement but also reflects the needs of our children and the changing areas that each school is located in.
The curriculum is designed so that children can acquire a good body of knowledge which progressively develops through their primary years, enabling them to succeed in their next steps in education. Alongside this, children are explicitly taught the skills needed in various disciplines; to access, articulate and retain key knowledge.
To enhance learning provision, the Trust implemented a two-year rolling programme, fostering collaboration and resource-sharing among teachers across broader teams.
